Intergalactic baddies the Daleks and the Cybermen have fought many a pitched battle on television's Dr Who over the last 50 years.

But the sworn enemies of space and time were side by side at a science fiction exhibition held in Ramsgate town centre by enthusiast Bob Pryor and his son Nigel.

Also on show were other props from the popular series including a Dr Who coat worn by the timelord actor Colin Baker in the series' 25th anniversary celebration stageshow in London.

Visitors also got the opportunity to look at an exhibition commemorating the 40th anniversary of the moon landing by Apollo 11 in 1969.
