Firefighters tackled a blaze in a brick storage building at the rear of a property in Margate early this morning.

Crews were forced to wear oxygen tanks to take on the fire in Athelstan Road shortly before 6am.

They also used a thermal imaging camera to check for fire spread and to detect remaining hotspots.

Cause of the blaze is unknown and being investigated.
