Two cars were destroyed after they were engulfed in flames in Victoria Road, Ramsgate this afternoon.
And a third nearby was damaged by heat.
The intense blaze led to thick black smoke towering high above the burning vehicles.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to the drama at 12.50pm today.
Firefighters said two cars were destroyed and the back of a building was also damaged but no one was hurt.
A KFRS spokesman said: "Two fire engines attended and crews wearing breathing apparatus used foam to extinguish the flames.
"There were no reported injuries and the cause is not yet known."
The two fire engines were from Ramsgate and Margate fire stations and crews left at 3.30pm.
