Firefighters were called to a derelict pub in Margate last night to tackle a blaze.
The building in Dane Valley Road was reported alight at 6.51pm and the crews discovered the fire on the ground floor.
They went into the building using breathing apparatus and a thermal image camera to identify the hottest areas which they tackled with a hose reel jet.
It took just over an hour to ensure the fire was out but they stayed at the scene damping down until around 8.30pm.
The cause of the blaze is unknown.
