Fire crews battled a blaze in a garden last night.
Two fire engines were sent to a house in Alfred Road, Margate, at about 9pm
Trees and vegetation caught alight to the front and side of property.
Part of the house was damaged by radiated heat from the fire.
A spokesman for Kent Fire and Rescue Service said: "Crews used two main jets and a hose reel jet with water from a hydrant to extinguish the fire.
"There was no reported casualties. The cause of the fire is not yet known."
