Firefighters wearing breathing masks tackled a kitchen fire in a pub/restaurant in Margate last night.
They were called to The Hoy in Fort Hill shortly after 6.30pm after an accidental fire in a bin under a worktop is thought to have started the blaze.
Crews found the kitchen well alight and used a main jet to contain the fire and put it out.
But the kichen of the seafront pub/restaurant was completely destroyed and the restaurant and two flats above damaged by smoke.
There were no reported injuries and the incident was over by 7.30pm.
