Firefighters tackled a fire in a bedroom at a property in Margate.
Two appliances were called to the blaze which broke out in the ground floor area of an address in Beatrice Road at 11.25am today.
It's understood nobody was trapped.
Crews are still at the scene damping down.
The cause is not known.
