Ramsgate caused an upset away to Fleet Town to book themselves a place in the next round of the FA Trophy.
Jim Ward's side ran out 2-0 winners, even after captain Warren Schulz was sent off for a second bookable offence mid way through the first half.
After the interval, 10-man Ramsgate scored twice, with Gary Mickelborough converting a penalty in the 59th minute, followed by a 35-yard curving lob by Liam Quinn, who spotted the keeper off his line.
Jim Ward was overjoyed with the result, but still found time to be critical of the man in the middle.
He said: "The referee was poor in the first half, but he got marginally better in the second. He sent me to the stand as well after Warren's dismissal for some reason and that just added to the confusion of it all.
"Fleet are a really good side, who had won five out of their last six games before today, so we knew we would be in for a tough afternoon.
"We got right at them in the second half and we were easily the better side after going down to ten men.
"I can't wait for the draw for the next round."
