Passengers heading to crunch business meetings will snack on potato chips from the county on international flights.
British Airways will stock Kent Crisps Sea Salt flavoured bags on all short and medium-haul flights from Heathrow from Thursday.
Made with no artificial flavours, colours or preservatives, the crisps are produced with potatoes grown by Quex Foods on the 250-acre Quex Park Estate in Birchington.
Kent Crisps will supply more than a million packets for the airline’s winter menu.
Quex Foods commercial manager Laura Audsley said: “This is a new and exciting era for the company.
“Kent Crisps is a young yet very exciting brand and we believe this partnership will drive its growth forward, raising the exposure and awareness of Kent Crisps nationwide.”
British Airways’ menu design manager Sinead Ferguson said: “When we tested these crisps, we felt that they represented a taste of the best of British potatoes.
“The flavours work well at 35,000 feet and we hope our customers enjoy them as much as we did.”
