The site of the former motor dealer is to go under the hammer at auction this month.
The property is the former Thanet Motor Company Garage in Godwin Road, Margate, which has been owned by the same family for many years.
But it is now being offered with vacant freehold possession with a guide price of between £220,000 and £240,000 by land and property auctioneers Clive Emson at its online sale at 11am on Wednesday, July 28.
Auction appraiser Jon Rimmer says: "Situated between Cliftonville and Margate at 69, Godwin Road, the garage extends to around 5,000 square feet. There is also parking outside for several cars.
“It might be continued as a garage, but it might also be re-developed if all the necessary consents are obtainable."

Also being sold is a substantial building in Southwood Road in Ramsgate, which has permission to be converted into four one-bedroom flats and a three-bedroom flat.
It also a workshop to the rear which is considered ideal for conversion, subject to all necessary consents being obtainable. The freehold guide price is £450-460,000.
