Four charged with drug offences after county lines crackdown in Ramsgate

Four people have been charged with dealing heroin and crack cocaine after a county lines operation.

The two men and two women were arrested following an investigation into drugs supply in Ramsgate on Wednesday.

James Martin, 52, of Royal Road, Christopher Charlton, 29, and Samantha McKeown, 41, both of Quetta Road, and Zena Watts, 37, of Clements Road, have all been charged with conspiring to supply heroin and crack cocaine between June 16 and May 29.

All four appeared via virtual link at Medway Magistrates’ Court on yesterday where they were remanded in custody.

The case will next be heard at Canterbury Crown Court on Thursday, August 20.
