A member of staff at Jungle Jims children's entertainment centre in Birchington was injured in a gas explosion.
The woman, believed to be in her mid 40s, suffered minor burns after a small explosion from the oven on Bank Holiday Monday.
Two fire engines were called to the scene at 10.34am, and remained there for 20 minutes, along with Transco gas engineers.
The gas supply was isolated and the woman was treated by ambulance crew.
A Jungle Jims spokesman said: "It was only a minor incident. A member of staff didn't realise how long the gas had been turned on for, before going to light the cooker.
"She scorched herself, but it was only a minor injury. There was no evacuation of staff or children and the ambulance and fire service just came as a matter of course."
Jungle Jims remained open as normal.
