Margate and Horsham shared the points in an see-saw Ryman League Premier Division encounter on Saturday.
Gate fell behind in the second minute when they failed to clear a free-kick and the ball fell to Ben Andrews who toe-poked it home from 10 yards.
Anthony Joseph hit the bar for the visitors before, on 25 minutes, Wayne Wilson curled a free-kick from the edge of the area round the wall and into the bottom corner of the net.
Gate then took the lead 10 minutes into the second half when Ben Clarke headed home after a short corner between Joe Healy and Wilson.
Horsham equalised against the run of play after 77 minutes when a cross from the left found Steve Davies and his effort deflected off a defender and trickled into the net.
Three minutes later Gate were behind again when they failed to clear another cross and the ball was knocked in by Claude Seanla.
But right at the death the visitors grabbed a point when substitute Lloyd Blackman got on the end of Joseph’s cross to score.
