Thanet Conservative Simon Moores took to the skies to support fellow Tory Boris Johnson during his successful election campaign to beome Mayor of London.

Simon, who runs an air advertising business, flew a banner declaring I’m Backing Boris over the capital.

Cllr Moores said: “It was quite simply a gesture on my part to back Boris.

"I am glad he won because it will make a much-needed change for the people of London.

"Boris calls it as it is, with refreshing honesty.”
