We all love a bargain, especially when it comes to food. But could this be Kent's cheapest roast dinner?
The Britannia in Margate is offering the classic dish for just £1 - with even the landlord himself saying he has taken leave of his senses.
The pub is offering diners a full roast at the reduced rate, with a choice of beef or turkey supplied Hogman Family Butchers, between noon and 5pm on Sunday.
What's the catch? All punters have to do to be eligible is spend £3 or more on drinks. Simple.
Landlord Paul Rollins, who usually charges £7 for a roast, says the pub has had to take bookings for the first time ever.
"We will do it the next few weeks and see how we go with it," the 66-year-old said.
"Thanet is a very busy place but it is not so busy in the winter. We have always done a good roast but we are hoping this will bring new people to the pub and promote the local butchers."
Mr Rollins, who has run the pub for nearly four years, says the offer will not run on mother's day.
The advert reads: "The landlord has taken leave of his senses.
"Is this the cheapest roast dinner in the country? Just £1 at The Britannia."
