A sprawling seaside home with six bedrooms is set to become the most expensive to ever be sold in Broadstairs.
The impressive property, located in Stone Road and not far from the North Foreland private estate, is up on the market for £3 million.
Boasting a pool, gym, sauna, billiards room and multiple bathrooms, the house is expected to easily surpass the town's current record sale fee of £2 million.
The existing holder of the Broadstairs title is Bleak House - the renowned clifftop mansion above Viking Bay where Charles Dickens wrote one of his most famous works.
Having originally been marketed for £2.5 million, it sold in January 2021 for £500,000 less.
Now, the six-bed Stone Road house is set to knock it off its perch as the town’s priciest pad.
Built in 1996, the home - which comes with 1.9 acres of land and a feature bridge - is expected to drum up a lot of interest.
The current owners are upping sticks having lived at the property for a decade.
Overlooking Stone Bay Beach, it comes with an electric-gated driveway and double garage, grand entrance hall and galleried landing, and a secluded garden with formal lawns and wooded areas.
The agents marketing the complex, Rafferty & Pickard, say the house is “flooded with natural light” and ideal for hosting parties.
The average sale price in Broadstairs over the past 12 months was £406,000, up 12% on the 2019 peak of £363,000, according to Rightmove.
