A Great British Bake Off semi-finalist who lives in Broadstairs will return to the iconic tent for a Christmas special.
Chetna Makan will join fellow former contestants and presenters Mary Berry, Paul Hollywood, Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins, who will all be reuniting for the final episodes on the BBC.
The first episode will air on BBC 1 at 4.45pm on Christmas Day and will be followed by the finale at 7pm on Boxing Day, each episode lasting an hour.
The Christmas special episodes follows the announcement earlier this year that the Great British Bake Off has been sold to Channel 4.
Mary Berry, Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins will all be leaving the series but Canterbury's Paul Hollywood will remain on the show.
Mrs Makan had previously spoken out about the move from the BBC.
She said: “I hope Channel 4 doesn’t change it, but that is something nobody knows,” she added.
“There will have to be some changes as it can’t be exactly the same for a different channel. Whether it will change for the better, I don’t know."
In the Christmas Day episode, Ali from series four, Cathryn from series three, Norman from series five, Mary-Anne from series two will all battle it out.
On Boxing Day, Chetna will be joined by Howard from series four, James from series three and Janet from series two.
Chetna posted on Instagram yesterday to confirm her appearance.
