A large house dating back more than 300 years is going under the hammer.
Ozengell Grange in Haine Road in Ramsgate will be auctioned on June 12 with a guide price of £600,000.
It has been owned by the same family for several years, but requires some refurbishment.
The historic home, which dates back to 1714, is opposite the fire-damaged remains of wrestling star Jackie ‘Mr TV’ Pallo’s residence, where he lived until his death in 2006.
Ozengell Grange sits on a plot of 3.5 acres and includes other outbuildings and stables, one of which is a barn thought to date back to the 1400s.
Appraiser for the Clive Emson auction, Jon Rimmer, said: “This is an extremely rare property to come on the market.
“It is a large, detached house with an associated barn within 3.5 acres of gardens that are overgrown.
“Full of historic features, this property is likely to whet the appetite of builders who will be able to see huge potential.
“It requires refurbishment and by doing so offers any new owner the chance to create their own interior.”
The June sale will be Clive Emson’s 250th land and property auction.
