A fundraising campaign to bring a 'polar bear' to town has been extended.
Margate's Turner Contemporary is hoping to bring life-size puppet Paula the polar bear to the streets as part of its summer exhibition.
So far, more than 60% of the £15,000 target has been raised, but fundraiser will now run until Tuesday, May 22.
Now, every pound donated via Art Happens, Art Fund's crowdfunding platform, will now be matched until the goal is reached, thanks to a private donor through Art Fund.
If the campaign is successful, the art gallery will bring Paula to Margate to roam through the town and onto the beach on 20 days throughout the summer season.
The aim is to get thousands of people talking about climate change as part of its summer exhibition, Animals & Us.
Donations can be made from as little as £5 and there are a number of rewards on offer in return for support.
The polar bear is owned by Greenpeace and has already travelled to Washington DC, Finland and Auckland to raise awareness of environmental issues.
