Margate man Charlie Bott is heading for the sun on an all-inclusive holiday after scooping kmfm's biggest single cash jackpot.
After winning £5,000 on the radio station's #BESTYEAREVER! competition on Monday, January 28, Mr Bott was presented with the cheque over the weekend.
Immediately after, he headed to Westwood Cross with wife Nikki to look at travel destinations before booking a break to Egypt.
Mr Bott called in from Birchington with the correct answers after hundreds of attempts by listeners.
The game involved 50 numbered 'boxes' and listeners had to choose three of them which revealed the words, Best Year Ever in the correct order.
"I was listening with my work mates since the start and remembering the numbers that had already been guessed," Mr Bott explained.
"After the second clue was given out on air, it was then when I was sure that the number needed was in the 30s."
Mr Bott chose the numbers, 39, eight and 12, and told presenter Andy Walker he would spend some of his jackpot on a holiday and had been listening for weeks trying to correctly guess the three box numbers.
But after winning the cash, Mr Bott said it has not been easy to part with.
"I don't want to spend it," he added. "I like looking at it in the bank."
Along with the holiday, Mr Bott has also bought a few things for his home.
