ONE of the largest crackdowns on anti-social issues in recent years in Thanet began on Monday.
The targeted campaign runs until Friday and is being led by Thanet District Council and also involves officers from Kent Police, Kent Fire and Rescue and the Border and Immigration Agency.
It involves a team of council officers taking to the streets of the Cliftonville West ward to tackle a range of problems, including empty properties, dumped rubbish, housing conditions and abandoned vehicles.
