A man was rushed to hospital after being found collapsed with a head injury.

Emergency services were called to a car park near Alfred Road in Birchington at about 7.30pm yesterday.

The man was airlifted to hospital in a serious condition.

Ambulance spokesman Rich Airey said: "Ambulance crews attended the scene.
"We were joined at the scene by the air ambulance service, and the patient was treated at the scene before being airlifted to St George's Hospital in London.
"He was still in a serious condition on the route to the hospital."
