Police were called to a park this morning to a report that a group of men were behaving suspiciously.

Officers were sent to Hartsdown Park in Margate and spoke to three men in Grosvenor Place.

One of the men was arrested on suspicion of drug offences.

A police spokesman said: "Kent Police received a report of a group of men behaving suspiciously in Hartsdown Park, Margate at 9.24am.

"Officers attended the area and spoke to three men in Grosvenor Place."

The man arrested remains in police custody.
