A man has been arrested on suspicion of assault after emergency services were called to a medical incident at a house.

Police and paramedics attended the scene in Wallwood Road in Ramsgate on Wednesday morning, at about 9.20am.

A police spokesman said they had been called to assist South East Coast Ambulance Service at the scene of a reported medical incident at a private address.

"Officers attended and a 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault," he said.

"Enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident are ongoing."
