A man was left with jaw injuries after he was attacked by a group of men at a drum and bass event in Margate.

The victim who is in his 20s was at a music event in Dreamland, headlined by Andy C on Saturday, August 31.

He was left with the injuries following the assault in the main arena at around 9pm.

Dubbed a "full park takeover", the gig ran from 4-11pm and included a host of other acts.

Officers have been looking at a number of enquiries, including reviewing CCTV footage from the night.

Investigating officer DS Vanessa Law said: "Although the assault was not reported to us until a number of weeks after it had happened, we understand the event was very busy and people might remember seeing the assault.

"We are asking anyone who was there during the night and witnessed the incident, or perhaps captured it on their phones, to call us."
