A man is to appear in court charged with burglary, assault and theft.

Darren Holmes, of no fixed address, was today charged with burglary of a property in La Belle Alliance Square in Ramsgate on July 30, during which copper wiring was reported stolen.

The 54-year-old has also been charged with assault and theft from a supermarket in College Walk, Margate on Thursday, October 11.

He appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court today and is next due to appear at Margate Magistrates’ Court on Monday, December 17.
