A man has died after the car he was travelling in crashed into trees.
The victim, aged in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene of the smash, which happened in Spitfire Way, Manston at about 9.20pm last night.
Police, ambulance and fire crews were called to reports that a red Vauxhall Corsa travelling towards Minster had swerved off the road and ploughed into trees.
Despite the efforts of paramedics, the man could not be saved.
Another man, who was in the same car, suffered minor injuries and was taken to a London hospital.
A 22-year-old man has since been arrested in connection with the crash.
Police have launched an appeal for anyone who saw the crash, or the car moments beforehand, to come forward.
