A man has died after falling from a seventh-floor balcony at Trove Court in Ramsgate.

The victim, who was in his 40s, fell from the apartment block in Newcastle Hill at around 9pm Monday.

He was pronounced dead on his arrival at Margate's QEQM hospital.

A police spokesman said detectives were investigating the death but confirmed they were not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident at the moment.
