A man has been found dead at a house after fears for his welfare were raised with police.

His body was discovered at a property in Beresford Road, Ramsgate, at just after 5.40am today.

An investigation is underway to establish the full circumstances of his death.

A spokesman for the force said: “We were called following concern for a man at an address in Beresford Road, Ramsgate, shortly after 5.40am on Tuesday 30 January.

“Officers attended along with South East Coast Ambulance Service and the man was pronounced deceased at the scene.

“Officers are liaising with the coroner and carrying out enquiries to determine the full circumstances.”
