A man has been found dead inside a flat after police were called to the property.

Officers gained access to a property this morning following a call to the block in Sussex Street, Ramsgate, at around 11.20am.

Several uniformed officers and forensic teams have been seen going in and out of the home throughout the day.

A man in his 50s was found deceased inside after police forced entry into the address.

His death is not being treated as suspicious and a report is being prepared for the coroner, a police spokesman said.

They added the man’s next of kin have been informed.
