A man has been found dead on a beach.

Police were called to a cliff near Western Esplanade in Broadstairs at 6.24pm yesterday, where the man was lying on the beach below.

Paramedics also attended the scene, where it was confirmed a local man in his 60s had died.

Although the death is not being treated as suspicious, police would like to hear from anyone in the area at the time of the incident.
