Firefighters freed a man from his car after it flipped onto its side.

The accident happened in Newington Road, Ramsgate just before 8.30pm yesterday, and resulted in three fire engines being sent to the scene.

Fire crews removed the front windscreen of the car, which had landed in a driveway, to allow the trapped man to climb out.

The man is believed to have been in his early 30s.

Police were also attended the scene.

No injuries have been reported.
