An investigation has been launched after a man was hit by a car outside Ramsgate train station.

British Transport Police and ambulance crews were called out after the man in his 50s was knocked down just after 8pm on Friday.

The man was taken to hospital for further assessment.

BTP is now investigating and ask for any witnesses to come forward.
