A man in his 40s has been taken to a London hospital with serious injuries after a car hit a tree and landed in a field.
Police were called to Vincent Road in Margate following reports of the incident at about 9.45am yesterday.
It is believed a grey Volkswagen T-Roc had crashed into a tree and was subsequently found in a nearby field.
Emergency services attended and the driver was taken to hospital.
Kent Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is investigating and urges anyone who witnessed the crash or has CCTV or dashcam footage to contact them.
