A 60-year-old man has been arrested after another man received a head injury in a reported assault.

At about 1.15am yesterday, police discovered the injured man on the High Street.

He reported being assaulted at a property in Sheen Court.

A man from Margate, aged 60, was arrested in connection with the incident and has since been released pending further investigation.
