A man has been taken to hospital after two vehicles crashed in Ramsgate.

Emergency services, including ambulances and a fire engine, were called to the scene in Spencer Square, near to the junction with Royal Road, shortly before 9am.

A man was injured and taken to a London hospital.

The road remained closed in the afternoon to allow for recovery work.
