A man who robbed a Cliftonville convenience store of £10,000 has been found guilty.
Richard Campbell, from Tooting in London committed the robbery at One Stop Shop in Northdown Road.
On Sunday, August 23, the 33-year-old stormed into the shop at 6.30am through a back door.
Investigating officer DC Clive Horne said: "Campbell subjected the woman to a terrifying ordeal clearly thinking about how much money he could get.
"He did not care for what his actions would put the victim through.
"I am pleased he had been found guilty of this dangerous crime.
After entering the shop he saw a woman and interrogated her to find out where the safe was located.
He then gave her instructions to follow and he managed to get away with £10,000 in cash and a number of scratch cards.

Following ANPR research and CCTV footage a blue Vauxhall Signum was seen to enter Margate early that morning and seen in Clarendon Road at 6.12am.
The registered keeper was Campbell.
Officers carried out a warrant at his home address and found a holdall bag, a scarf and a high visibility top, all of which were seen on the CCTV footage of the robbery.
Campbell was arrested and charged on September 9.
He was found guilty following a trial at the Old Bailey on March 16 and is due to be sentenced next month.
