Margate man, 21, arrested on suspicion of carrying imitation gun in Stirling Way, Ramsgate

A 21-year-old man is in custody after police arrested him on suspicion of carrying an imitation firearm.

Armed officers were called to Stirling Way, Ramsgate, at 11am, where the man from Margate was arrested.

A police spokesman said enquiries were ongoing.
