Police are hunting for the driver of a car following a crash on a busy route.

The collision happened on the A255 Nethercourt Hill in Ramsgate at about 2.50pm today.

Two cars were involved, and police were called the the scene.

However, when officers arrived, they were told that one of the cars involved had drove off following the smash.

A spokesman for the force added: “The road was cleared and enquiries are ongoing to locate the driver.”
