Margate extended their unbeaten run to eight matches thanks to a 1-1 draw at home to fellow strugglers Bognor Regis Town on Easter Saturday.
Iain O'Connell's side had James Pinnock (pictured) to thank for grabbing a point after coming from behind after just 17 minutes.
Jason Prior was the man to put the visitors ahead as he side-footed home from a right wing cross from James Crane.
Margate came into the game more in the second half as Bognor sat on their lead. But, their equaliser came from a route-one move. Pinnock latched onto a high clearence from Jamie Turner over the back of the Bognor defence and neatly finished past keeper Anthony Ender.
Margate could have grabbed all three points as both Curtis Robinson and Dan Stubbs missed half-chances. Robinson sent Ender the wrong way with a deflected shot that was eventually cleared off the line by Crane.
Margate continue their survival bid away to play-off contenders Tonbridge Angels on Easter Monday.
