White Lives Matter protesters may have chosen Margate for their march today but the town is fighting back - with love.
The far-right group uses the hashtag #wlm on Twitter and residents of the seaside town have taken up the tag to spread the message We Love Margate.
And, as police on horseback prepare for the marchers, the message has started trending on Twitter.
Other banners with positive messages have appeared across the town, including on the harbour arm and in the window of GB Pizza in Marine Drive, along the proposed route of the march.
