The former owners of a nursery have shut up shop and opened a role play centre for children in the former premises.
Youngsters can step into Lilliput Road in Richmond Road in Ramsgate and play in mini worlds including a police station, supermarket, medical centre and builders' yard.
Run by husband and wife team Peter and Shirley Dolding with daughter Dena, the new business is already taking off.
"We had the idea a couple of years ago," said Dena.
"We used to own Elms Nursery School but for a couple of years we've been thinking about doing something like this for younger children.
"We shut the nursery in August and started building everything."
The ground floor boasts a café, a play gym, a pirate ship, a gnomes' home and a baby section.
On the basement floor is the role play area with a theatre, a café, medical centre, a supermarket, a police station, a builders yard and play school.
The centre, which is open Monday to Saturday from 9.30am to 5pm, has a café serving drinks and snacks.
Dena added: "We're a family-run company and all early years professionals.
"We've wanted to do this for a while so we're pleased it's open and we've already been busy."
