A 14-year-old girl missing for just over a week has been found safe and well.

Kent Police launched an appeal for information about the whereabouts of Barbora Horvathova who was reported missing from Margate on Thursday, February 26.

It was announced this morning that the slim, 5ft girl, had been found and Kent Police thanked the public for their assistance.

No further details were released. Miss Horvathova went missing from the Hartsdown Road, Margate area. It was thought she could have been in Chatham,, though the circumstances of her return have not been disclosed.
