A Margate mum has won tickets to see her favourite football team play after being named Arsenal’s Most Avid Fan.

Vanessa Finch won the title with an entry including a photo of her Gunners-themed wedding.

Red and white was a running theme as Vanessa wore her Arsenal scarf with her wedding dress and her son, Dom Wallen, put on his Arsenal shirt.

The wedding was held on August 17, which is former Arsenal player Thierry Henry’s birthday.

Vanessa said: “My son and I are huge Arsenal fans and we go to see them play whenever we can.

“It’s amazing to see that our passion for the club has been recognised. Winning this prize is fantastic and we can’t wait to watch the match together.”

Vanessa has won a chauffeur-driven trip to watch the Gunners take on Watford in April. She will also receive a signed Arsenal shirt.

Her winning entry was part of Europcar’s second Fan of the Season competitions.
