Detectives have named the man who died after a stabbing in Margate at the weekend.
He is 45-year-old Slawomir Bartos from the city of Gnienzo in Poland.
Mr Bartos was single, and moved to Margate about a year ago.
A painter and decorator by trade, he had been working in the construction industry in Thanet.
Investigating officer Detective Inspector Ivan Beasley, said: "We have been liaising closely with Mr Bartos’ family both in the UK and in Poland."
Officers were called to reports of a disturbance in Market Place, Margate, just after 1am on Saturday.
Stanislaw Dubis, aged 49, of Market Place, Margate, has been charged with murder and is due to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Thursday.
