The Minnis Bay Bar and Brasserie has unveiled its new look, following a transformation costing £1 million.
The bar/ restaurant, owned by Shepherd Neame, has been transformed over the course of 16 weeks.
The investment comes as part of the brewery's strategy to 'provide great destinations for eating and drinking in the best locations'.
The construction programme has seen the restaurant remodelled, now boasting a new bar with a coffee lounge and a 100-seat restaurant.
But it doesn't end there, as the ice cream beach hut has been refurbished along with new toilets, staff area and cellar.
Nigel Bunting, of Minnis Bay owners Shepherd Neame, said: “This is a wonderful setting and we wanted to make sure we did justice to it, giving our customers a great experience.
“We have created 12 new jobs and hope the new look Minnis Bay will provide a significant boost to tourism and the local economy as well as becoming a social hub for the community.”
But it doesn't end there as to go with the new look, the menu has had an overhaul.
Taking inspiration from the location, it features classic and modern seafood such as grilled lemon sole, and of course the traditional cod and chips.
The newly installed authentic pizza oven means pizza can be stone baked.
Also on offer is a range of steaks, burger, vegetarian dishes, small plates and sandwiches.
Their new breakfast menu will also be available daily from 8am until 11am.
General manager Daniel Cole said: “I’m delighted with the new Minnis Bay Bar and Brasserie, it’s a stunning setting, serving great food and drink in a friendly and stylish environment. We look forward to welcoming friends and customers old and new.”.
