THE patter of tiny feet was heard at Smyths superstore when tots and toddlers made their way there to take part in our Cute Kids competition.

We linked up with Smyths – the big toy store at Westwood Cross with little prices – and Fraser Portraits for this year’s competition, and it couldn’t be simpler to vote.

The competition was open to children aged between 1 and 5. There is one category and the winner will be given £750, runner up £250, and third place will win a framed portrait.

Youngsters queuing to have their pictures taken on the last day of the photo sessions were entertained by a busy programme of events, including magic shows, face painting and a visit from Bob the Builder.
