More on KentOnline

The ice may be biting at our extremities at the moment but it won't be too long before the winter beckons spring, and spring gives way to summer and we are out there in our tee shirts and shorts.
And this year I want to be able to get into my trunks on the beach - and that is why 2010 is the year I hope you will see a little less of Lewis. No, don't worry, I won’t be disappearing from your radios, I just aim to shed some weight.
My target is to lose around a stone and a bit by the end of March, and I will be actively fronting the local Walk to Win campaign to get the people of east Kent fitter, have fun and get out and about to explore our fabulous area.
We are not asking people to suddenly start leaping, jumping, jogging and stretching - just build up gentle exercise on a regular basis. It is amazing how much your fitness can improve if you exercise little and often.
And talking of getting out and about, I will be taking my show into the community a lot more in 2010, with appearances at major events and the odd outside broadcast here and there - you never know where myself and the team will pop up, so keep your eyes open.
If you have any community events you would like us to promote on air or in my column in 2010, get straight onto the email or send me information to kmfm in Cliftonville and we will do all we can to help.
And don’t forget - you will hear all the latest information about the weather conditions (and any school closures) as soon as we know. Keep tuned.
