One person has been treated by paramedics after a blaze in a flat.
Two fire engines were called to the incident in Victoria Parade, Ramsgate, this morning.
Crews wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire and cleared the property of smoke using a high pressure fan after they were called shortly before 7am.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: "One person was handed into the care of paramedics and the cause of the fire is not yet known."
Firefighters left the scene shortly after 8am.
