Emergency services were scrambled to a town centre amid reports a car had overturned.
Police and ambulance crews were called to St Peter’s High Street in Broadstairs at about 3.20pm following calls from concerned members of the public.
The 30mph road was closed briefly while officers and medics could be seen standing near the scene of the incident.
Images show an upside-down car resting partly on the pavement opposite a Post Office branch.
An ambulance was parked behind the overturned car and, cones were placed down as traffic calming measures.
Two stationary police cars could be seen blocking the street with a number of officers standing by.
A spokesman from Kent Police said: “Officers assisted with traffic management and the recovery of the vehicle.
“No serious injuries were reported.
“The road was closed for around an hour and a half while the incident was responded to.”
